About Me 👋
I am Marco, a robotics researcher and engineer focused on Physical AI and the intersection of precision manufacturing and machine learning 🤖.
I build robotic perception and control pipelines designed to survive the harsh realities of the factory floor, moving automation from simulation into repeatable production.
🔧 The Edge: From Workshop to Neural Networks
My trajectory is unique in the deep-tech space: I started my career at the workbench, shortening my training as an Industrial Mechanic at Hainbuch and mastering CNC programming, precision tooling, and pneumatics.
Today, I leverage that mechanical intuition to design better software. My journey spans the entire automation ecosystem—from industrial computer vision at IDS Imaging and generative AI validation at Schunk, to deploying state-of-the-art robot learning pipelines at Fraunhofer IPA.
Let’s build what’s next—where reliability matters more than hype. 🚀
